Do you use a VPN for privacy? Here's what you should know:
–There's no way you or anyone else can tell if the VPN provider is selling your data.
–If a VPN provider _doesn't_ sell your data, it will be outcompeted by those that do, and go out of business.
It's a market for lemons.

VPNs have two parts: clients/apps, which we can analyze, and servers, which we can't. Researchers looked at 283 VPN *apps* and found that they're horrifying malware-infested cesspits. It's prudent to assume that what's happening on servers is 10x worse. https://t.co/r4jgfcOLM2
